Shri Prakash Sahoo joins SAI International School as Principal, Secondary. His commitment to promote the progressive system of education has its roots in the conscious and free upbringing by his family and the school. The experience gained then has given him a chance to understand and respect the diversity and vastness of the world and its society and the need to pursue a path of constant quest and inquiry.
His credentials include a Non-Graduate Degree on STEM from Alabama University, USA and a Certificate in Algebraic Thinking, Harvard Graduate School of Education, USA. He is a Master in Science from Manipal University, Master in Mathematics, VM University and has completed his B.Ed. from Kurukshetra (MDU) University.
He is an Education Special Program fellow from U.S. Space & Rocket Center and NASA. He has taken the initiative of driving the International Exchange Program of Building Relationships through Intercultural Dialogue and Growing Engagement (BRIDGE), for teacher leadership and steam innovation, duly certified by the Govt. of Australia.
He is the STEM Trainer for Delhi University. He also worked as a guest faculty on the Concept of Integral Education in Delhi University.
He has exhibited brilliant leadership qualities and brought about innovative education in Mirambika, Heritage School Gurgaon, New Schools, Jodhpur and Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon, where he developed a comprehensive approach of teaching and learning, based on the process of learning through 21st Century skills.
